About the Artist
My name is Kevin Parrish I am 35-year-old solo country music artist from Colborne, Ontario, with a deep voice, a traditional country sound, and a lifelong passion for music. My musical journey began at a young age. At just four years old, I sang my first George Strait song on stage alongside his dad, and by the age of 12, he had picked up the guitar. Growing up in a three-generation family band, music has always been a part of my life. Over the years, I have performed with numerous bands and as a solo artist, entertaining audiences at jamborees, weddings, private events, funerals, and venues throughout the region. My musical journey has included several memorable milestones. I placed first in Shelburne Idol and went on to compete in Canadian Idol in 2008, making it into the Top 100. In November 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to share the stage with country star Jon Pardi at the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa. In 2024, I travelled to Nashville, Tennessee, to record my original music, including Chasing Fireflies. Continuing to build my name in the country music scene, I opened for rising Canadian country artist Owen Riegling at the Stirling Fair in the summer of 2026 and released another original song, Honky Tonk Angel. Inspired by country legends such as Keith Whitley, George Strait, and Alan Jackson, I bring an authentic, old-school country feel to my performances. My rich, deep vocals and love for traditional country music make me a natural fit for fans who appreciate the timeless sound of country. One of my most frequently requested songs is Josh Turner's Your Man, a perfect showcase of his signature deep voice. From classic country favourites to original music, I bring a genuine love for country music to every stage I step onto.
