About the Artist

My name is JJ Nash, and I’m a Canadian female vocalist and entertainer from the beautiful Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada. For the past 30 years, music has been one of the biggest parts of my life, taking me on an incredible journey filled with unforgettable performances, amazing opportunities, lifelong friendships, challenges, and memories that I will cherish forever. Music isn’t just something I do. It’s part of who I am. For three decades, I’ve dedicated myself to doing what I love most: standing behind a microphone, sharing my voice, and connecting with audiences through the power of music. My musical style is a mixture of blues rock, classic rock, southern rock, country rock, and outlaw country. I’ve never wanted to limit myself to one genre because I love the raw emotion of blues, the energy and attitude of rock and roll, and the storytelling that makes country music so special. I would describe myself as a powerhouse female vocalist with a little southern attitude, a rebellious spirit, and a whole lot of heart. Whether I’m belting out a rock anthem, singing a soulful blues ballad, or bringing some country grit to the stage, I put everything I have into every performance. 30 YEARS BEHIND THE MICROPHONE Looking back over the past 30 years, I’m incredibly proud of the musical journey I’ve been on. Like many artists, my journey has had its share of highs and lows, but one thing has never changed: my love for music. Over the years, I’ve performed at numerous venues, festivals, community celebrations, private functions, and live music events throughout the Niagara Region and surrounding areas. I’ve had the pleasure of performing with talented musicians, including my time as a lead vocalist with Rebel Souls, Niagara’s Party Rock Band. Some of the venues and events I’ve performed at include Lucky Penny, Reeb House in Port Colborne, Dublin Stout, Ribstock, and various other live music establishments and events. Every stage I’ve stepped onto has played a part in shaping the performer I am today. One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned throughout my career is that the size of the stage doesn’t determine the importance of the performance. Whether I’m singing for a small crowd in an intimate venue or performing in front of a large festival audience, I give the same energy, passion, and dedication. There’s nothing quite like watching an audience come alive, seeing people singing along, dancing, smiling, and forgetting about their worries for a little while. Those are the moments that remind me why I’ve continued doing this for 30 years. SHARING THE STAGE WITH INCREDIBLE ARTISTS Some of the proudest and most memorable moments of my musical career have been having the opportunity to open for established Canadian rock artists and other talented performers. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the honour of opening for: Lee Aaron — One of Canada’s most recognized female rock icons, known for her powerhouse vocals and incredible contributions to Canadian rock music. Sven Gali — A Canadian hard rock band known for its powerful sound and high-energy performances. The Standstills — A Canadian rock band known for its gritty, hard-hitting sound and electrifying live performances. Epic Eagles — An acclaimed Eagles tribute act that celebrates the timeless music of one of rock’s most legendary bands. Having the opportunity to perform on the same concert bills as these artists has been an incredible honour and a highlight of my musical journey. These experiences have allowed me to grow as a performer, introduce my voice to new audiences, and create memories that I will carry with me forever. After 30 years of performing, I still get excited about every new opportunity. I never want to lose that feeling. MY SOUND, MY STYLE, MY IDENTITY Over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for artists who perform with authenticity, emotion, and confidence. My musical influences include Etta James, Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Elle King, Chris Stapleton, and many of the legendary voices of blues, rock, and country music. I love music that tells a story, makes you feel something, and leaves an impression long after the final note.I believe my personality plays a big part in my performance style. I’m outgoing, passionate, energetic, and a little rebellious. I love having fun on stage, interacting with the audience, and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels like they’re part of the show. I’ve never wanted to sound exactly like someone else. I’ve always wanted to develop my own identity as a vocalist and entertainer. After three decades in music, I’ve learned that being authentic is one of the most important things an artist can do. THE ROAD HASN’T ALWAYS BEEN EASY Thirty years in music has taught me a lot about life, people, determination, and believing in myself. The music industry isn’t always easy, especially when you’re an independent artist working hard to build opportunities and con
