About the Artist
I grew up singing in youth choirs in church and elementary school. I began guitar lessons at nine years old. Growing up, My passion was for heavy rock music, but in 2014 I decided to embark on a journey as a solo artist in the country genre-to accommodate my naturally deep singing voice. In 2018 I recorded my debut album, “Worth Fighting For” at Chalet studios (Claremont Ontario), which I co-produced alongside Dale Russell. Worth fighting for featured Rob LAIDLAW (bass), Aubrey Dayle (Drums), David Chester (Keys), Dale Russell (guitar), and Robin Evans (violin), and features a duet with Runaway Angel’s Cadence Grace. I have been grinding it out as a solo artist playing small showcases, open mic’s and private events. In 2023 I was given the opportunity to work with Peterborough producer Barry Haggarty. In 2025 we released his song “dirt road home” together. In spring 2025 I recorded my latest single “the man I want to be” at Jukasa Media Group (Ohsweken, Ontario), with acclaimed engineers Darren Magierowski and Jill Zimmermann. The man I Want to Be was produced by Al Rowe and Agenda music (Rich Dasilva-drums, Mark Rynkun-bass, Will Hebbes-electric Guitar, Al Rowe - acoustic guitar/vocals) and I played lead guitar and sang lead vocals. We would later have Western Swing Authority’s Shane Guse play violin on the recording. I have been working with agenda music on a new album (expected in 2027). I am trying to blend my love of traditional country and heavier rock music. We have a new single on the way, expected October 16, 2026. I am scheduled to play an NSAI event later this month, and my first Nashville style Writers round (hosted by Dave Woods) next month.
