About the Artist
From his debut EP "Dirt Road" released in 2019, to his most recent release (only a little over 2 weeks ago and already boasting over 500k plays across streaming platforms) "Good Old Days" - Adam Cousins has shown, time and time again, that he knows how to take the every day moments and make them feel larger than life. His "work hard, play hard" approach to life translates directly to his music, as he draws listeners in with his infectious energy, both on the live stage and through the airwaves. Born in the tight-knit, dirt road, small country town of Brussels, Ontario - Adam holds his core values of quality time with family and hard honest work close to his heart. Over the years, Adam's music has made it's way to the Sirius XM Top 30, won him repeated recognition at the Forest City London Music Awards, and caught the eye of multiple editorial playlisters through the Amazon, Apple, and Spotify teams. With fifteen releases to his name, Adam takes pride in his songwriting contributions and collaborative efforts in the studio - always having a hand in the production process of his tunes to ensure the final product stays true to his sound; a curated blend of classic country soul with a powerful and captivating modern energy. Adam connected early-on with award-winning Ontario producer Shawn Moore, and the pair have since collaborated with many more members of the industry - from Ontario to Nashville - to build a recording and production team that continues to push the boundaries and bring cutting-edge music to Adam's career-long fans and new listeners alike. While like many artists, Adam got his start playing acoustic shows in local pubs and bars, he now finds himself travelling province-wide for various music festivals including; Music in the Fields (Lucknow), North of Nowhere (Lindsay), Hayloft (Listowel), Tailgate (Mitchell), Sauble Beach Party (Sauble Beach), and Stomp the Bruce (Owen Sound) to name a few. Adam is however, not simply confined to the Ontario-boundaries; despite being heavily involved and well known through the Ontario Fairs circuit - a feature artist at the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS) Gala and subsequently a headliner at many fairs across the province - Adam has also found himself travelling across the nation, playing as a feature artist at the Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies (AAAS) Gala, as a headlining artist for Quebec's Sherbrooke University's academic year kickoff concert, and most recently as a part of the Cavendish Beach Music Festival lineup alongside internationally established names such as Cody Johnson & Tucker Wetmore. Adam has become a familiar face as a return artist to the Country Stage at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), has been a feature artist at multiple Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) Award events, and has sold out his own headlining New Years Eve show in Kincardine for 4 consecutive years. As Adam continues to build his audience with exponential growth - both digitally and at live shows - it remains obvious how much his passion and commitment drive his music; he is not someone who knows how to do something halfway, and it shows! Adam remains motivated to continue performing across the nation, sharing his music globally, and connecting with listeners every step along the way.
